University of Georgia College of Engineering professors Jason Locklin and Jenna Jambeck are quoted in a New York Times article Oct. 1 that highlights the complexities consumers face in finding alternatives to single-use plastics.
“It’s tremendously confusing, not just to the consumer, but even to many scientists,” said Locklin.
Locklin, Jambeck and their colleagues in UGA’s New Materials Institute are committed to healthier materials for a healthier planet.
