UGA students win Capital One College Bowl

On Friday, Oct. 28, Bulldog Engineer Layla Parsa, along with Aidan Leahy and Elijah Odunade, clinched a victory in the Capital One College Bowl, a multi-week trivia competition hosted by Peyton Manning and Cooper Manning. Broadcast nationally on NBC, UGA defeated reigning College Bowl champion Columbia University and will each receive $125,000 in scholarship winnings for their success.

Parsa, a mechanical engineering major and College of Engineering Ambassador, “was perfect for the team,” said Odunade.
