INFORMATION SESSIONS + TOURS

Interested in experiencing all that engineering at UGA has to offer? Attend one of our Information Session + Tour events. These events involve a formal presentation from staff where prospective undergraduate students and families are able to learn about our curriculum, experiential learning opportunities, student groups and competitions, support for entrepreneurship and innovation, and much more. All information sessions are followed by an engineering facilities tour led by College of Engineering Student Ambassadors.

All Fall 2019 information sessions begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Paul D. Coverdell Center Auditorium (map). All Spring 2020 Information Sessions begin at 2:15pm in the Driftmier Engineering Center, check-in at room 1108 (map).

WEEKLY FACILITIES TOURS

Not able to make it to one of our formal prospective student events? During the Fall and Spring semester, the College of Engineering will offer two weekly tours of our facilities.  All tours begin at 3:00 p.m. in the lobby of the Driftmier Engineering Center (map), and will be hosted by College of Engineering Student Ambassadors and staff. Please note that we are not currently able to offer standing facilities tours during the summer semester. Due to official UGA events there may be other dates unavailable during the Fall or Spring terms.

Please register and tell us about yourself!

Tours are offered on the following days:

  • Thursday
  • Friday

All tours begin at 3:00 p.m. in the lobby of the Driftmier Engineering Center (map).

NOTE: Weekly tours are only offered and staffed during Fall and Spring semesters when classes are in session and are not offered during final exam periods. Please see the semester start and end dates below and refer to the University of Georgia Academic Calendar for any university closure or holiday dates. 

Fall 2019: Classes begin August 14. Classes end December 4, 2019.
Spring 2020: Classes begin January 7. Classes end April 28, 2020. 

  • Thanksgiving Break: November 27-29 (Classes NOT in session)
  • Spring Break: March 9-13 (Classes NOT in Session)

Unfortunately, we are not currently able to offer standing facilities tours during the summer semester.
